This year the Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce has added a new event, our very first Lights of Dauphin Island Dash. We hope to have everyone come out and dress in their most Christmassy attire and go around the Water Tower Plaza block. We can’t wait to see everyone in matching shirts or dressed as Santa, an Elf or even the Grinch. Ugly sweaters will surely make many people smile. Let’s all enjoy the season and come run or walk this short mile. Admission is Free.
We will be collecting can and boxed items for Feed the Need and donations will be greatly appreciated. Items we are hoping to collect are large cans of hearty type soups (beef/vegetable, chicken vegetable), Instant potatoes, canned vegetables (spinach, greens, peas), bags of dried beans (black eye peas, lima), canned Fruit, canned yams, boxes of stove top dressings, canned Ham, Shelf-stable Milk, cranberry sauce any type of items to help with making a holiday meal.
