Alabama Governor Issues Stay At Home Order

Governor Ivey says efforts to stem the Coronavirus have not been effective enough, so the Governor has issued a Stay at Home order statewide, beginning Saturday, April 4, at 5:00 p.m. through Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Governor Ivey said "Dr. Harris & I have tried everything we knew to do to keep from having to take this next step. But late yesterday, it became obvious that more had to be done."

Ivey says, "We’ve got to take this order dead serious; otherwise, the fact is more people will end up dying."
