Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up
Add Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy to the growing list of sports people who think their fame and status qualifies them to inform the rest of us on the coronavirus.
First, it was Kirk Herbstreit who decided it would be appropriate to play the role of an epidemiologist and tell the country he would be shocked if football was played this year.
Now it’s Gundy who has studied up on the virus, so we don’t have. Gundy took the opposite view from Herbstreit. He said that, based on his study, college athletes are young and strong, and should therefore face no risk from the coronavirus.
Look, we’re all hopeful that life will get back to normal as quickly as possible. Until then, let’s leave it to the experts to provide us with the news we need.
Anyone not in the medical field who feels the need to step out of their lane and into the role of virus spokesperson needs to Tighten Up.
