LSU, Alabama lead dominant Round 1 for SEC in the NFL Draft

LSU had the first and last pick of the first round in Thursday night's NFL Draft. In between, there were three other Tigers selected.

LSU's five first-round picks was best of any team and was equal to the most by any conference except for the SEC. Alabama had four players selected in the first 15 picks to help the SEC to an all-time record.

Auburn and Georgia both had two players go in the first round, while Florida and South Carolina had one each.

The rest of the draft is expected to have a strong SEC flavor, as well. But it will be hard to ever exceed the dominant night the conference had top open the 2019 NFL Draft.
