During his coaching days, Don Shula was a regular in Mobile for the Senior, whether he was coaching in the game or just scouting the talent. Mobile is where Bob Baumhower first met his future coach.
Shula, the all-time winningest coach in NFL history eho died Monday at age 90, was coaching in the game when Baumhower was coming out of Alabama.
Baumhower recalled that first encouter and shared many more stories during when he joined the Randy Kennedy Show Tuesday at Sports Talk 99.5.
