NASCAR has hardly ever been as much in the spotlight as it is today. The sports was among the first to return to competition after the onset of COVID-19. Now, driver Bubba Wallace, a Mobile native, is at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter movement.

We talked to Matt Weaver of AutoWeek about NASCAR's decision to ban confederate flags at races and where NASCAR's popularity stands today.
