Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up: Food should be enjoyed even in competition

Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up

Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo repeated as champions Saturday at the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest.

The contest was not held on the boardwalk at Coney Island, but was instead at an inside location without fans.

Inside or out there is still one major flaw with the annual contest.

It’s gross.

I’m not against eating a bunch of hot dogs. But the rule should be that they have to be consumed like the rest of us would enjoy them. That means slap some mustard on there, maybe some ketchup and chili, then eat it all together.

No dipping in water. No eating the bun separately. Wash it down with a soda.

The whole idea is to promote Nathan’s and make me want to eat a hot dog.

The contest will need to Tighten Up before there is any chance of that being the case.

For Threaded Fasteners, I’m Randy Kennedy with Tighten Up
