Nominees for the Sports Illustrated All-American team has been announced, with 11 Alabama Gulf Coast players among the 1,000 nationally to make the cut. All the nominees are seniors.
The seven from Mobile County are Chickasaw's Baryle Davenport, Blount's Lee Hunter, Jarris Williams and Lamarcus Brown, McGill-Toolen's Jordan Mosley, USM-Wright's Edwin White, and St. Paul's Ivan Shultz.
The four from Baldwin County are Daphne's Trent Battle, Fairhope's Riley Leonard, and Spanish Fort's Micah Gaffney and Christian Burkhalter.
