Saraland High School students have already been back in class for four days. Head football coach Jeff Kelly said he's proud of how the school has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and he's optimistic the Spartans will be on the field Aug. 21 against Theodore.
"You can tell our kids understand what they need to do to be as safe as possible," Kelly said.
The Spartans, who finished 10-1 last season, are expected to be a championship contender again this season.
