Threaded Fasteners Nuts and Bolts of the Game

Football fans in Spanish Fort have a chance to make a statement to the country tonight and it has nothing to do with football.

I know the Toros and visiting St. Paul’s Saints will put on a great show for the ESPN audience. We never have to worry about our best teams measuring up to other high school teams around the country.

But people who aren’t familiar with high school football in Alabama will be watching to get an idea if those of us in this part of the country are willing to do our part to help have a full football season on the high school level, in college and even the NFL.

I’m confident lessons have been learned since last week. I sure hope so.

Tonight, we have a chance to show the country how much we love football and how much we care about each other.

Wear a mask. Social distance. And let’s enjoy a great night of football.
