High school football schedule greatly altered by Hurricane Sally

Only one high school football game is scheduled to be played in Mobile or Baldwin County Friday night in the aftermath of Hurricane Sally.

Theodore will face Murphy Friday at 7 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium as planned. But that's where the normal scheduling ends.

No Baldwin County public school is scheduled to play this week. Undefeated Bayside Academy is scheduled to travel to Brewton Saturday to take on T.R. Miller in a 6 p.m. kickoff.

Three other marquee matchups are also now scheduled for Saturday. Blount and Saraland will play at 11 a.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. St. Paul's will visit Faith Academy at 4 p.m. And Vigor will visit Mobile Christian at 5 p.m.

Many other games are still being rescheduled, including some that are expected to be played Monday night.
