Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up
The two major-college Atlanta football teams gave up a total of 134 points in losses last week.
That’s 59 by Georgia State to Arkansas State and an incredible 73 by Georgia Tech against Clemson.
By comparison, the 41 yielded by Georgia against Alabama was a defensive gem.
Everybody knows that college football has become a game dominated by explosive offenses. It’s why Alabama can allow 24 points and feel relatively good about the performance against the Dogs.
But at some point the defense has got to Tighten Up and at least get the occasional stop.
