Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up: Penn State football is a mess

Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up

The Penn State Nittany Lions opened the preseason ranked in the top 10 in the country. They fell out of the polls when the Big Ten delayed the start of its season. Still, they were expected to be right back in the championship race once the season got going.

But that’s not how it’s played out.

The Lions are now 0-4. They are the first team to go from the top 10 to 0-4 since 1984. They have lost to Indiana, Ohio State, Maryland and Nebraska.

Anybody can have a bad day and be the victim of an upset. But four games is a trend. It’s also half of the season in the Big Ten.

The Nittany Lions need to Tighten Up and realize that just because this isn’t going to be a championship season doesn’t mean it’s time to give up and set the program back even further.

For Threaded Fasteners I’m Randy Kennedy with Tighten Up.
