Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up: Why did the NFL Network try to confuse fans?

Even casual NFL fans knew that the conference championship games began at 2 p.m. Sunday. So, when I checked my DVR to make sure everything was set to record, I was happy to see the Chiefs at Bills game listed at 2 p.m. on the NFL Network.

Wait, I thought Kansas City was the home team. Yes, on Jan. 24 the Chiefs were at home. But this was a game from Oct. 10 played in Buffalo.

Why would the NFL decide to show a game replay at 2 p.m. other than to try to confuse viewers into missing the live game on FOX?

Counter programming on the NFL Network needed to be something like Making of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders or even a My Pillow infomercial. What it doesn’t need to be is an actual NFL game that nobody is going to watch while a live broadcast of the NFC conference final is taking place.

Tighten Up NFL Network and stop trying to confuse loyal NFL fans.
