Threaded Fasteners Nuts and Bolts of the Game: Pujols always a class act

Baseball legend Albert Pujols was designated for reassignment this week. That's another way of saying, he was cut.

That puts him in great company with such folks as Ricky Henderson, Frank Thomas, and Jack Morris. Guys who are Hall of Famers who also suffer the same indignity.

But don't feel sorry for Albert Pujols, he's still one of the great guys in the history of the game.

Albert Pujols is incredibly generous, including a clip that's on the internet of Pujols giving away the shirt off his back to a young fan with down syndrome.

Pujols' own child has down syndrome so it's even more touching.

Pujols may play again, he may not, but he's going to be in the Hall of Fame and he's going to be in the Hall of Fame as a person as well.
