Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up
I like a good celebration as much as anybody. But there has to be a time and circumstance element for when a choreographed celebration is appropriate.
South Alabama raced to an early 14-0 lead over Arkansas State Saturday.
The Red Wolves finally got something going late in the first quarter, leading to a 31-yard field goal by Dominic Zvada.
After making the kick, Zvada did that thing where you put your hands together like you’re about to pray then put the hands on the side of your head as if someone has been been put to sleep.
The only problem for the kicker was that South Alabama still led by 11 points on its way to a bowl-clinching win.
The Jags slept well knowing they will be playing in the postseason. But Zvada’s kick wasn’t even enough to make them drowsy.
