35th Annual AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CHILI COOKOFF- Sat 11am-3pm, Canal Street, between Broad St and Washington St, Downtown Mobile

Help fight cancer by eating chili! Local teams are competing for bragging rights, cooking up their favorite recipes. Sample the chili at this fun street party, with live music by Phil and Foster, PEEK and Disco Lemonade. There’s also a kids area with bounce house, face painting and Disney Princesses (they appear 12-2pm). Tickets $15.  CLICK HERE

The Festival of Flowers celebrates its 31st year by proudly showcasing horticultural displays created by the Mobile area’s best teams of florists, nurseries, landscapers, designers, and artists. Special events include a Saturday morning Exotic Car Show, Buds and Brews, and self-guided tours of area gardens. On Sunday, visitors can bring a furry friend to enjoy the show during Welcome All Wags from 3-5 p.m. Festival proceeds will help purchase advanced medical equipment for USA Health Providence Hospital. CLICK HERE

McGUIRE’S ST PATRICK’S DAY PREDICTION 5K RUN- Sat 9am, McGuire's Irish Pub, Downtown Pensacola

The McGuire's St. Patrick's Day Run is the Largest 5k Prediction Run in America. Rain or shine. Each runner/walker predicts how long it will take them to complete the 3.1 mile course.
