Mark D. Fillers

Fillers serves as the South Alabama Market President for Renasant Bank, a 114-year-old publicly traded financial services institution. Prior to joining Renasant Bank, Fillers served the south Alabama market in commercial banking for more than 15 years. A Mobile native, Fillers graduated from McGill-Toolen High School and the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. He also completed his MBA through Auburn University’s Executive MBA program.

Active in his community, Fillers has been the Finance Chair, Campaign Chair, Board Chair, and is currently immediate past-chairman of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southwest Alabama.He also serves in a leadership role for the University of South Alabama’s Upward and Onward campaign.

Over the years, Fillers has served in several other board capacities including the Board of Directors for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mobile Area Council Boy Scouts of America Executive Board, Steering Committee for Mobile United, Finance committee and Finance Chair for Dauphin Way United Methodist Church & other committee roles within the church, and volunteers with Outback America and Boy Scout Troup 227.

Fillers is a former graduate of Mobile United’s Leadership Mobile program and was one of Mobile Bay Magazine’s “40 under 40”.

He and his wife, Erin, have three children, David (12), William (8), and James (6).The Fillers are active members of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.
